Focused on Growth in North American Copper
Augusta Resource Corporation is a base metals company focused on advancing its Rosemont Copper project near Tucson, Arizona. Rosemont hosts a large copper/molybdenum reserve and resource as announced July 2012, and is expected to produce 243 million pounds of copper per year per its 2012 feasibility study, making it the third largest copper mine in the USA. Production is expected to commence in the first quarter of 2017.
The exceptional experience and strength of Augusta's management team, combined with the developed infrastructure and robust economics of the Rosemont project, sets Augusta to become a solid mid-tier copper producer.
