Gil Clausen , , , President and Chief Executive Officer, Director

Mr. Clausen has over 30 years of executive and operations experience in the mining industry with several major global and domestic mining companies. He has held senior operations and project development positions before moving into executive roles where he was responsible for executing corporate growth strategies including development and operations for several large precious metal, base metal, and coal producing companies. Mr. Clausen is also Vice Chairman of Wildcat Silver Corporation and Chairman of Plata Latina Minerals Corporation. He is a P.Eng and holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Mining Engineering from Queen's University. He is also a graduate of the Queen’s executive business program.

Rodney O. Pace , , , Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer President and CEO, Rosemont Copper Company

Mr. Pace joined Augusta in January 2008 as Vice President Operations and General Manager and was promoted to his current position in May 2009. He has more than 25 years experience in mine development and operations, working in a broad range of executive and management positions, including Vice-President of North American Operations for Washington Group International. Mr. Pace has a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, with a Minor in Mineral Economics.

Joseph M. Longpré , , , Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Longpré is a project finance specialist with over 25 years experience in the equity and debt markets with a strong focus on metals and mining. He was most recently Corporate Vice President advising on M&A and project finance transactions at URS Corporation, a multinational engineering, construction and technical services company. Previously he was Managing Director of the Mining Group at BMO Nesbitt Burns. He has an MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business and Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from the University of Saskatchewan and he also holds a CMA designation.

James A. Sturgess , , , Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Government Affairs

Mr. Sturgess has over 25 years experience in the areas of environmental management, corporate development, regulatory compliance, pollution control and project management. His career has spanned from research field biologist to site environmental manager for large mining operations, and included senior exectuive positions with Cyprus Climax Metals and EnviroNet. Mr. Sturgess was formerly with Stantec Consulting in the Environmental Management group, doing extensive permitting work in Arizona over the last two decades. He has earned both his Masters in Resource Management Ecology and his Bachelors in Renewable Natural Resource Management from the University of California at Davis.

Katherine A. Arnold , , , Vice President, Environmental & Regulatory Affairs

Ms. Arnold has over 20 years experience at active copper mining facilities in the southwest, holding jobs that included foreman, engineer, metallurgist, accountant and technician. The bulk of her experience has been in environmental permitting, compliance and management. After eighteen years with Asarco, Ms. Arnold joined Augusta Resource after working as Project Manager for Tetra Tech. She is on the Industry Leadership Board for the University of Arizona and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Arizona. Ms. Arnold earned a Master's of Science in Project and Engineering Management and has Bachelor's of Science degrees in Mineral Processing Engineering, Computer Science, and Mathematics. All of her degrees are from the Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology.

Letitia Cornacchia , , , Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications

Ms. Cornacchia has over 10 years of experience in investor relations and finance. Prior to joining Augusta Resource as the VP of investor relations, Ms. Cornacchia was the Director of investor relations at Yamana Gold. Previous to that, she was in investor relations and various other finance positions in the telco industry at TELUS. Ms. Cornacchia has a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in finance from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia and is a CFA charterholder.

Gordon Jang , , , Vice President and Controller

Mr. Jang has more than 14 years experience in the mining industry and has extensive knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley, internal controls, mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, and regulatory compliance matters. Prior to joining Augusta in March 2009 he worked with Eurozinc and the Lundin Mining Corporation as Corporate Controller. Prior to that time he worked as Controller for Pan American Silver and Altoro Gold, and Assistant Controller for Equinox Resources. He is a graduate of the British Columbia institute of Technology's Financial Management program and holds a CMA designation.

Charles J. Magolske , , , Vice President, Corporate Development & Marketing

Mr. Magolske has more than 25 years of experience in industrial capital goods businesses in marketing, operations management, business management, joint ventures and acquisitions in both domestic and international venues. Prior to joining Augusta, Mr. Magolske was the Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for FreightCar America, and held prior positions with Trinity Industries, FMC Corporation, Owens Illinois and Western Gear, a division of Bucyrus Erie. He holds degrees in Law, Business and Engineering and is a Professional Engineer.

Lance C. Newman , , , Vice President, Project Development

Mr. Newman has 19 years experience in concentrating, smelting and refining operations with several successful startups in base and precious metals plant operations. He joined Augusta after working as Refinery Manager for Stillwater Mining Company, spending the eight years prior to that with Gold Fields of South Africa. He is a former Advisory Board Member for the Process Plant Technology faculty at the Montana State University College of Technology and the former Chairman of the Palladium Research Group. Mr. Newman has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Rhodes University.

Purni Parikh , , , Vice President, Corporate Secretary

Ms. Parikh has 22 years experience in business administration. She has a Certificate in Business from the University of Toronto, and has completed coursework at Simon Fraser University and other institutions in various areas including business management, organizational behavior, marketing, securities, computer science and software and web design. In 1999, Ms. Parikh obtained a Gemology degree with honors ranking second in Canada, and is now a fellow of Gemological Associations in Canada and Great Britain and an associate member of the Gemological Institute of America. She also holds an honours certificate in the Canadian Securities Course and has 17 years experience working with public companies in the areas of communications, investor relations and legal administration.

Mark G. Stevens , , , Vice President, Exploration

Mr. Stevens joined Augusta as Chief Geologist in 2006 and has more than 27 years of technical and managerial experience in the exploration, evaluation, and mining of base and precious metals. Prior to joining Augusta, he was the Chief Geologist with Pincock, Allen & Holt, a consulting group based in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Stevens holds a Bachelor Degree of Science in Geology from Colorado State University, and a Masters of Science in Geology from the University of Utah.
